Meet Our Directors

Trenton Davis, Director of Choirs

Trenton Davis is in his fourteenth year of teaching and first as the Director of Choirs at Allen High School. Prior to joining the Allen Independent School District, Davis taught nine years in West Texas for the Midland and Ector County Independent School Districts. Choirs under the direction of Davis have toured Croatia, Italy, New York City, Hawaii, and Florida, received consistent superior ratings at UIL Evaluations, and many have earned membership in the Texas All-State Choir Ensembles.  In 2019, Davis conducted the Lee High School Varsity Treble as an Invited Choir at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio. 

Davis was selected as the 2023 Lowery Freshman Center Teacher of the Year, chosen as a Midland Magazine “Top 20 under 40 Young Professionals”, a two-time recipient of the “Teacher in Excellence Award for Fine Arts”, and received the “Recognized Alumnus” from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin for Exceptional Professional Achievement in Music Education. Davis is a proud member of TMEA, ACDA, TMAA, and TCDA and currently serves as the TMEA Region 25 Vocal Chairman and Texas All-State Tenor-Bass Choir Organizer. Davis holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Texas Tech University. Trenton is married to his best friend, Kaitlin, and with their daughters, Clara and Eleanor, reside in Allen.


Casey LeVie, Allen High School Choir Director

Casey LeVie is in her sixth year of teaching and first year at Allen High School. Ms. LeVie began her teaching career as the Assistant Choral Director at Duncanville High School where she was a collaborative pianist for their 2021 ACDA A Cappella Men’s Choir Performance and their 2020 TMEA General Session Performance, “It Starts with Music.” After her tenure at Duncanville, Ms. LeVie taught at Central High School in Keller ISD as an Associate Choral Director where she had previously completed her student teaching. At Keller Central, Ms. LeVie directed the Non-Varsity Show Choir, Non-Varsity Tenor/Bass Choir, and Sub-Non-Varsity Treble Choir. LeVie’s Show Choir received statewide recognition and placed on the national show choir competition stage in 2024 for the first time in program history.  Ms. LeVie also served as Musical Director for Central Stage Theatre’s productions of “Mary Poppins”, “The Music Man”, and “Grease” where she received “Best Musical Direction” nominations and awards in the district and greater DFW area. 

Ms. LeVie received her Bachelor of Music Education in Choral Music from Baylor University where she studied with Dr. Lynne Gackle, Dr. Michele Henry, Dr. Deborah Williamson, and Dr. Randy Umstead. LeVie performed with Baylor Bella Voce at the 2018 SWACDA Conference and was the soprano section leader for both Baylor Bella Voce and the Baylor A Cappella Choir. Ms. LeVie was also the President of the Baylor Student Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association and was a Student Ambassador for the Baylor School of Music. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ms. LeVie is so excited to continue her teaching journey in Texas and be a part of the Allen Choir Family! When not directing choirs or singing showtunes, Ms. LeVie enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd Benny, planning her fantasy football team, and catching up on the latest action movies.


Kaitlin Davis, Lowery Freshman Center Director of Choirs

Kaitlin Davis is beginning her eighth year of teaching and her first year as Director of Choirs at the Lowery Freshman Center. An alumnus of Texas Tech University, Mrs. Davis graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education and Vocal Performance. Davis began her career in 2014 as a Middle School Choir Director in Odessa and Midland, TX, and then as head director at her high school alma mater, Robert E. Lee Freshman High School in Midland, TX until 2020.

Choirs under direction of Davis have received numerous awards from Music Festivals in Amarillo, Lubbock, San Antonio, and Dallas, as well as consecutive UIL superior ratings for several soloists and choral ensembles. In 2021-2022, after taking time to raise her oldest daughter, Mrs. Davis taught private voice lessons to students in the metroplex area preparing students for the All-State Choir process and UIL Solo & Ensemble Competition. Mrs. Davis was the Head Choir Director at Shepton High School in Plano from 2022-2023, where all choral ensembles received UIL Sweepstakes Ratings under her direction. Mrs. Davis is a member of TCDA, TMEA, and ACDA and resides in Allen with her husband, Trenton Davis and their two daughters, Clara and Eleanor.


Spencer Tripp, LFC & AHS Choir Director

Spencer Tripp is in his fourth year of teaching and first year as Assistant Choir Director at Allen High School and Lowery Freshman Center. Prior to joining Allen ISD, Mr. Tripp began his teaching career at Montgomery High School in Montgomery ISD. As the Assistant Choir Director at MHS, Mr. Trip taught the Non-Varsity Tenor-Bass, Treble, Freshman Treble, and Jazz Choirs. After teaching at Montgomery High School, Tripp taught at DeSoto High School where he taught Choir and Piano. Choirs under the direction of Tripp have received consistent superior ratings at UIL Choir Evaluations. Mr. Tripp made his collaborative pianist debut at the 2024 Texas Music Educators Association Convention as he accompanied the DeSoto High School A Cappella Choir in San Antonio in 2024.

Mr. Tripp holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University, where he studied with Karl Dent and Dr. Alan Zabriskie. Originally from Plano and a graduate from Plano Senior High School, Tripp is familiar with the excellence of Allen Choir. Mr. Tripp is excited to call Allen High School home and continue the rich tradition of Allen Eagle Choir. Mr. Tripp is an active member of Pi Kappa Alpha, TMEA, TCDA, and ACDA.
