The Allen Choirs proudly consist of over 450 dedicated student musicians across more than 14 performing ensembles at Allen High School and the Lowery Freshman Center. These ensembles provide students with a wide range of musical experiences, from large group performances to smaller, specialized vocal groups. While the majority of our choirs meet during the school day, several ensembles also rehearse and perform outside of regular class hours, giving students additional opportunities to grow as musicians and performers.
Allen Choir emphasizes not only musical excellence but also personal growth, leadership, and community involvement. Each year, many of our students audition for and participate in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-Region, Area, and All-State Choirs. In addition, our singers frequently perform in the annual AHS musical, compete in the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest, and showcase their talents in the annual Allen Talent Show.
Our Choir students are more than just performers—they are well-rounded individuals who actively contribute to the culture and spirit of our campuses. Many are top academic scholars, athletes, and leaders in student organizations. Their passion for music is matched by their dedication to excellence in all areas of student life, making the Allen Choirs a vibrant and vital part of our school community.
